Vancouver Club wedding, ghost chair ceremony, iconic vancouver wedding, white aisle runner

It was 2013 and meeting online was becoming the new norm. Areiyu and Travis messaged each other on Plenty of Fish and decided on a first date at Salt in Gastown.

Soon into their relationship, Areiyu was relocated to Ontario for school and Travis packed up and moved with her. The lifetime adventure was only beginning!

On their fifth anniversary, when visiting for a friend’s wedding, Travis got down on one knee and asked Areiyu to marry him.

While still living in Ontario, when it came to saying I DO, they both agreed Vancouver meant a lot to them. They booked the SHE team to execute their vision for their destination wedding.

The Vancouver Club was the perfect setting for their intimate and elegant but hip and edgy wedding. The groom had an amazing vision that was a lot of fun to bring to life. I mean, I have never removed so much furniture out of the club before…but I don’t regret it 😉

The day was filled with emphasis on the guest experience, a style that reflected the couple perfectly and a first look moment for just them to exchange gifts and vows. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Areiyu and Travis and their incredible vendor team. Trust me, you’re not gonna want to miss their wedding film below!

Thank you, Areiyu and Travis for having us be part of your special day xo
