These two lovebirds met during their undergraduate days at McMaster, but the sparks didn’t start flying until they crossed paths again in medical school at Ottawa. During orientation week, a mutual friend decided to play Cupid and brought Brenton over to Jean’s place to lend a hand with moving. Little did they know that moment would be the start of their incredible journey together.
The Ceremony: A Picture-Perfect West Coast Fairytale
Jean and Brenton’s ceremony was nothing short of enchanting. The outdoor setting at Stanley Park Pavilion, with its lush greenery and climbing vines, created a whimsical backdrop that felt like something straight out of a dream. And let’s talk about that floral arch! Framing the couple beautifully, it was adorned with romantic blooms that added just the right amount of flair.
But the real showstoppers? Their grandmas as flower girls! Talk about heart-melting moments. Surrounded by close friends and family, this sweet couple said “I do” in the most intimate and touching way possible.
The Reception: Sunset Tones & Sparkle Galore
The reception was a vibe! With sunset-hued florals and flickering candles, the space radiated warmth and elegance. Jean and Brenton opted for a minimalist design that still felt intimate and luxe. They sat at a sweetheart table while their guests gathered around long tables, adding a warm communal feel to the evening.
After many heartfelt speeches with many laughs and tears, the couple went around to toast all their guests and cut their four-tiered delicious cake!
And then came the dance floor. The party kicked off with a bang—literally! Cold sparklers lit up the couple’s choreographed first dance, creating a moment straight out of a fairytale. As if that wasn’t enough, the LED accessories raised the energy, turning the dance floor into the ultimate celebration. Everyone had a blast rotating from the dance floor to the photo booth to the bar and back around again until the night’s end.
Jean and Brenton truly made this day their own, from the sentimental moments to the epic dance party. This was one of those weddings that left everyone buzzing with excitement long after the final sparkler went out.
