It’s no big secret that I love Whistler but planning and executing a marriage proposal in Whistler gets me over the moon excited! I am so fortunate to live in Vancouver and be surrounded by such beautiful west coast backdrops that make any proposal pop.
Today I am sharing my favourite Whistler proposal spots for popping the question:

Stone Circle
Located in Lakeside Park just a short 5 minute walk from the parking lot over a bridge and tucked inside the trees. Please note a permit is recommended to secure this spot as it is a popular spot for elopements and proposals. See Michael and Chloe’s proposal here.

Nita Lake Lodge
My #1 recommended boutique hotel in Whistler for the ultimate west coast feel with incredible customer service. There are many locations available such as the dock on Nita Lake with the mountain backdrop or the bridgeway above where the Rocky Mountaineer Train frequents often. Scandinave Spa
Escape to this Nordic- inspired oasis and rejuvenate in the peaceful surroundings of nature. Scandinave Spa is the ideal romantic spot to steal some couple time away, enjoy a couple’s massage, plunge into the pools and relax in the hammock heaven or in plush robes by the fire. Although silence is recommended, this location is perfect for getting down on one knee to say those four little words, WILL YOU MARRY ME?
4. On top of the Mountain
You cannot expect to visit Whistler and not go explore the mountains. Whether you explore by the Peak 2 Peak gondola (so much fun!), Zip treking, Snowshoeing through the trails or by private Helicopter tour with Blackcomb Aviation (for the ultimate “unforgettable” proposal). Pack a picnic and don’t forget the champagne!
5. Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Center
A unique venue offering a dynamic round hall: Istken Hall with a perimeter of windows and wood elements. Plan a romantic dinner for two with a hundred candles. A bonus is this venue offers a movie theater for the ultimate dinner and movie proposal!
